Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital is amongst the renowned hospitals of Delhi. It was initially known as Willingdon Hospital. The hospital is quite old and was set up by British people for the aid of their own staff. Initially the hospital accommodates only 54 beds in it. In the year 1954, the administration of the hospital was transferred to the governing bodies of Independent India. Since its arrival, the hospital is serving thousands of patients round the clock within affordable cost and best of the services. The infrastructure of the hospital is extended up to 30 acres of land piece. Recently, it has 984 beds in it. General Ward, Sharing Rooms, individual A/C and non AC Rooms, Deluxe rooms, Suites, Double room and Single room are available in the hospital as per the choice of patients. Department of Library, Psychiatry department, Nursing Home, Blood Bank, Physiotherapy, Dental Surgery, Accident & Emergency, Dermatology, Anaesthesia & Intensive Care, Eye Ophthalmology, Ear, Nose & Throat, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Family Welfare, General & Minimally Invasive Surgery are the diverse departments of the hospital.
