Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is a new political party in India. It was formed on November 26, 2012, after following differences between the social activists Arvind Kejriwal and Anna Hazare. The aam aadmi party has an ambition to win election which has been scheduled in 2013 and form a government in Delhi. Their party symbol is a Broom. The Election Commission has approved it. With Swaraj political model, the Aam Aadmi Party wishes to make government accountable to the people instead of higher officials and lay stress on self governance, community building and decentralisation.

The aam aadmi party’s manifesto is to introduce four primary policies i.e. Right to Reject, Right to Recall, Jan Lokpal Bill (Legislation) and Political decentralisation. Currently the AAP is running a campaign, Jhadu Chalao Yatra.
