Trivandrum International Airport is one of the finest airports in India situated in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. It is the first non-metro city where you will find an international airport. The airport is well designed and presents all the facilities which would present in any of world class airport. Some of the facilities as Wi-Fi, cafes, duty free shopping, free local calls, phone recharging points, lounge etc. It is the busiest airport in terms of international passenger’s as well domestic passenger’s traffic.

It has three terminals in which terminal 1 and 2 serve for domestic flights. The domestic terminal is in around 99,000 sq. ft. area, the terminal 3, here new international terminal building is present, serves for international flights and spread in an area of over 2,880 acres. The international terminal has a capacity of around 1600 passengers at a time and domestic terminal can handle around 500 passengers at a time.

Airlines operating from Trivandrum International Airport are: Air Arabia, Air India, Air India Express, Bahrain Air, Emirates, Etihad Airways, IndiGo, Jet Airways, Kuwait Airways, Oman Air, Qatar Airways, SilkAir, Spicejet, SriLankan Airlines and Tiger Airways.

The airport also operates cargo service. There are airlines operating the service are Qatar Airways, Saudia Cargo, SriLankan Airlines operated by Expoair Cargo.

The ground handling authority for international terminal is given to Air India and Bhadra Ground Handling services Ltd. The terminal has full equipped with modern facilities like Wi-Fi, lounge, natural lighting as well for the passenger convenience they have given best parking facilities. The domestic terminal is also equipped with the latest facilities like cafes, book shops, duty free shopping, phone-recharging point and lots more.
