Urban Credit Society in the year 1917 and was then converted into a Bank. This bank was started by Shri. Subhashrao Joshi and others. Till 1993 the Bank had only 8 branches spread over Satara District only but today it has been moved to Sangli, Kolhapur, Solapur, Ratnagiri, Pune and Mumbai.
