Dr. B.R. Ambedkar College of Law, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam is a law college that was established in the year 1945. During the time of establishment it was known as Andhra University College of Law but later on it was renamed on May 10, 1991. It was because of the efforts of Dr. C R Reddy that this university was established and he was the first Vice Chancellor as well as the founder of this university. The different kinds of programs offered by this university include LLB (3 year course), LLM (2 year course), Ph.D (full time – 2 years) and Ph.D (part time – 3 years).
