Alpha Arts and Science College was established in 1996. It is a self-financed, co-educational institution that is approved by the Government of Tamil Nadu and affiliated to the University of Madras. It has been upgraded as a post graduate institution in 2001. The college offers certificate courses in Spoken Hindi, Tally, Logistics, Web Designing and Animation and many more.
