Institute of Liver & Biliary Science, Vasantkunj D-Sector, Delhi is one of the well settled liver hospitals of Delhi. The organization has been set up by the Government of the National Capital Territory of New Delhi as a self-directed institute, beneath the Societies act. The clear idea of establishing this institution is to offer world-class treatment and diagnosis especially for liver and biliary diseases. The hospital accommodates total bed capacity of 180 in first section from which around 74 beds are placed in intensive care unit. Another section of the hospital was introduced recently only in 2012. This section includes multi-story research complex, guest-house, auditorium, hepato-biliary oncology unit, additional beds and housing and lodging. Institute of Liver & Biliary Science, Delhi is an established campus beneath the UGC.
