Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College is one of the oldest medical colleges that are established in India. The hospital is named after the Indian freedom fighter Jawaharlal Nehru and is located in the city of Aligarh in Uttar Pradesh. Established in 1962, the hospital was initially founded for the practice purpose of British military doctors. The medical college was previously known as Aligarh Medical College. The college provides various courses in undergraduate, postgraduate and diploma courses in medical science.
