Incredible India Contact Details
Incredible India is a nodal agency of the Ministry of Tourism headed by the Minister of State for Tourism. It formulates national policies and programmes for the purpose of promoting domestic tourism. Amitabh Kant, the Joint Secretary under the Union Ministry of Tourism promoted and branded Incredible India in the year 2002. The tourism ministry is engaged in important services of advertising and marketing firm Ogilvy & Mather to build a new campaign to boost tourist inflows into the country.

The Directorate General of Tourism gives recommendation for the formation 20 offices within the country and one sub-ordinate office i.e., Gulmarg Winter Sports Project and Indian Institute of Skiing and Mountaineering.
There are five Regional offices located at Kolkata (East), Mumbai (West), Delhi (North), Chennai (South) and Guwahati (North East). Each tourism office is headed by an officer of the level of Deputy Director General designated as Regional Director.
