Rajasthan is one of the most prosperous states of the country. It is the largest state of the Republic of the country by area. Jaipur is the capital city of the state Rajasthan and is known for its heritage, culture and royalty. Known as Pink City, Jaipur is the city to explore for its rich heritage, culture. The city is all about colour, culture and reflection of ancestors have had. Jaipur lies in western India and is rated amongst the hottest cities of the country. Jaipur was being painted pink during the reign of Maharaja Man Singh 2nd. It was done in honour of Prince of Wales who visited the city in 1876.Due to presence of the desert, most of the cities of Rajasthan remain hot and Jaipur too remains hot.

Besides Jaipur, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Ajmer are other great cities to see. the white marble Bara-dari on the Anasagar lake is exquisite. Jain Temples, Dilwara Temples of Mount Abu, Ranakpur Temple, Jain temples in the fort complexes of Chittor, Jaisalmer and Kumbhalgarh, Lodurva Jain temples, Bhandasar and Karni Mata Temple of Bikaner are some of the best places to visit.

A traveller can make a trip to Rajasthan at anytime of the year but October to March are considered as the best months for spending good times in this state. Summers are not good time to visit as the temperature can be very high during this time. The temperature goes high as much as 52 degree. Monsoon months are also considered good months to visit.
